General information about the Vietnam e-Visa

The Vietnamese e-Visa is an electronic travel authorization that permits travelers to enter Vietnam. The e-Visa is one type of visa that is issued to foreigners by the Vietnamese Immigration Department via an electronic system. The Vietnam e-Visa is valid for a maximum of 30 days and is a single-entry visa.

You can apply for the e-Visa online or through agencies and organizations. The visa fee is paid via an electronic payment gateway as prescribed by the Immigration Department. If the application is refused, the fee will not be refunded.

Conditions for being granted the e-Visa:

If you have been invited/guaranteed by authority/organization or individual in Vietnam in accordance to the Law on foreigners entry into, exit from, transit through, residence in Vietnam, you may be considered to get a new visa. Foreigners entering Vietnam must comply with the Vietnamese law.
